The 1941 mystery-comedy, “Shadow of the Thin Man” starring William Powell and Myrna Loy, screens at the Soper Reese Theatre on Tuesday, March 13, at 1:00 and 6:00 pm. Entry to the film is by donation. The fourth in the ever-popular Thin Man series, Nick and Nora are at their wisecracking best as they investigate murder and racketeering at a local race track. On location scenes were shot in San Francisco including what was then the brand new Bay Bridge. Look for a brief appearance by Ava Gardner, standing by Nick’s car -- her feature film debut.
