The Lake County Theatre Company presents “The Producers,” a Mel Brooks musical, for a 3 week run starting on Friday, September 29 at the Soper Reese Theatre in Lakeport. Max Bialystock is a washed up Broadway producer. Leo Bloom is a mousy PA (public accountant). When the two meet, their combined expertise points them toward the ultimate scam: Raise more money than you need for a SURE-FIRE flop Broadway show. Stars Nick Powell, John Tomlinson, Zoe Richardson, Tim Barnes, Dennis Fay, and Rod Rehe. Appropriate for age 13 years and up, for language and sexual innuendo.
