Happy New Year! What an exciting year it is for Shade Canyon School. On February 3 (just one month from today!), we will open enrollment for the 2023-24 school year for grades TK-2.
We highly recommend that one or both parents/guardians attend our two adult-only pre-enrollment informational gatherings on Jan. 21 and Feb. 3. While attendance is not required for enrollment, both gatherings will assist in your important decision about whether the Waldorf style of education is the best option for your family. And the gatherings will be fun! Spanish translation available at both.

- Our first Pre-Enrollment Gathering, “The Waldorf Approach to Public Education,” will immerse you in the experience of what it will be like to be a Shade Canyon School student. Experienced Waldorf teacher and administrator Jane Johansen will guide us through real, hands-on Waldorf class lessons and discuss how Public Waldorf education cultivates deep understanding and love of learning in students, as well as preparing them to meet the challenges of the modern world.
