The film breaks new ground in content and style. It merges some of the most realistic and disturbing battle footage ever included in a feature film with a touching human story. Winner of 5 Academy Awards. “The Green Mile” is based on Stephen King’s novel and directed by Frank Darabont, who also directed “The Shawshank Redemption,” which means you can expect unusual plot twists and turns, and a dash of the supernatural.
