The 1957 comedy, “The Pajama Game,” starring Doris Day and John Raitt, screens at the Soper Reese Theatre on Tuesday, October 24, at 1:00 and 6:00 pm. Entry to the film is by donation. Based on the long-running stage hit, this vibrant musical satire features choreography by the legendary Bob Fosse and pits Day against Raitt in a pajama factory labor dispute. Many of the original Broadway cast retain their roles in the movie, along with a rich score by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross which includes such popular hits as “Hey There,” “Steam Heat,” and “Hernando’s Hideaway.” The movie is sponsored by Kathy Jansen.
