1970 fictitious Western starring Dustin Hoffman, Faye Dunaway and Chief Dan George, about the adventures of 121-year-old Jack Crabb who was General George Custer’s scout at the infamous Battle of the Little Big Horn. Director Arthur Penn adeptly mixes the ludicrous with the serious to keep the yarn lively. Many have drawn correlations between the message of this film and the events of the era when the film was made, during the Vietnam War. Rated PG. This film shows at 1:00pm and 6:00pm.
