”It’s Boots & Bling at the Lake County Fair!” held Thursday through Sunday every Labor Day weekend. The Lake County Fair is one of Lake County’s largest community events, drawing nearly 38,000 visits to the fairgrounds in Lakeport during its four-day run. Your paid admission to this favorite county event features a variety of free activities including live music, grandstand events, strolling acts, plus animals big and small.You’ll find a variety of fair food, thrilling carnivalrides, game booths and over 3,000 categories of exhibits ranging from fine arts and photography, to homemade crafts, quilts, clothing, woodworking – even walk on contests!In the Livestock Pavilion on Saturday at 1:00 PMjoin us for a lively Junior Livestock Auction, showcasing the animals of local 4-H and FFA exhibitors. During the nightly attractions at the main grandstands you may find horse shows, motorcycle or auto racing, mud bogs and the ever popular boat races.
