Description

Dean Enderlin explains the volcanic aftermath that created the broad variety of distinctly different ecosystems in Lake County. Our rocks show great variety because differing kinds were tossed by each of many volcanic eruptions over many millennia, the most recent thought to have been only about 10,000 years ago. Gibson's new display, Crime and Punishment in Lake County, featuring the miscreants of Lake County’s colorful past. It includes Middletown’s own Buck English, swashbuckling stage robber and all-around outlaw who threatened to “tan Andrew Rocca’s hide and use it for shoelaces.”
