The Friends of the Lake County Museum are hosting a murder mystery dinner at the Historic Courthouse Museum on Saturday, April 9, to kick off the opening of the museum exhibit “Crime and Punishment in Lake County.”
Doors open at 6 p.m. and guests will be the first to view the new exhibit before the show starts at 6:30 p.m. in the courtroom upstairs.
There isn’t a more appropriate venue for a mystery dinner than the historic courtroom, where for nearly 100 years murderers and thieves in Lake County were brought to justice.
Produced by Murder Us Productions, the mystery portion of the evening is set in 1890s Lake County and guests are encouraged to dress in Victorian-style costumes to fit the theme.
A three...-course catered dinner and refreshments will round out the evening.
Tickets are $65 per person and $60 for members of the Friends of the Lake County Museum.
