Decades Concert

On Friday, April 21, the Soper Reese Theatre Third Friday Live series features “Decades,” a group from Chico, CA, that plays a vibrant and diverse range of dance rhythms from Chuck Berry to Katy Perry. Show starts at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $15 for all seats. Decades delivers high-powered performances and a repertoire that runs from the Glenn Miller Orchestra’s “In the Mood” to Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk. The group is young (ages 26 to 29), and uses tight harmonies and an energized rhythm section to showcase its versatile instrumentation. Samantha Francis, Ben Ruttenburg, Tobias Brooks, Will Watje and Billy DiBono sing and play sax, harmonica, and trumpet along with guitar, bass, keyboards and drums.
