Clear Lake State Park Wildflower Brunch

The Clear Lake State Park Interpretive Association (CLSPIA) has presented a spring Wildflower Brunch since 1996. This event, which features delicious fill-your-own omelets -- 12 fillings to choose from -- accompanied by pastries, fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee, also includes specific nature-related activities in the park. The breakfast is held annually in April. During the day, CLSPIA members give presentations in the auditorium, and lead tours of Visitor Center exhibits. There is a fee (see below -- or call 279-4395; tickets are $20.00) for the breakfast, and proceeds from the event stay in the park to further environmental education, primarily the Interpretive Association's educational programs. Special Kids' breakfasts of two pancakes, fruit, pastry and juice will be available for 10 dollars. Kids' tickets to be purchased at the breakfast.
