Blackberry Cobbler Festival

Come to the 4th annual Blackberry COBBler Festival on August 24th at Mountain Meadow in Cobb, CA. Hours are from 11-5 pm. Both admission and parking are free. This blackberry-themed festival presented by the Cobb Area Council is a showcase of all Cobb area businesses, musicians, artisans, and community organizations. This includes 70+ vendors selling everything from blackberry scented soaps and candles to blackberry infused vinegars and baked goods. Live music will be performed by Three on the Tree, the Lost Coast Band and others. There will be plenty of selections for food and beverages and lots of sweet treats. A special play area is designated just for kids. The competition for best Blackberry Cobbler will present awards and the Lions Club will be serving cobbler all day. Art is a big part of the festival, and the local artists will bring their creations in various mediums such as ceramics, stained glass, oil painting, wood working, jewelry and photography. Locally donated beer and wine will be available for purchase, as will plates of fresh cooked BBQ. This popular Summer festival is presented by the Cobb Area Council whose goal is to improve the local economy and the visibility of the Cobb Area to the rest of the county.
