Annette Higday's Art Reception serving complimentary appetizers adn selling wine by the glass. “My recent artwork is on wood or canvas. I make some of my own frames. The medium I mostly use is exterior house paint I’ve collected from painting quilt blocks for the Lake County Quilt Trail. I can’t bear to waste leftover paint, so I dream up ideas and use the wonderful colors to create my artwork. I try various techniques-from very opaque, impasto, to watered down washes. I enjoy painting different subjects- people, animals, flowers, abstract designs.”
