Myrna Loy and William Powell bring the Charles’ back to the Soper Reese in the third of the Thin Man series. “Another Thin Man,” made in 1939, screens on Tuesday, March 28, at 1:00 and 6:00 pm. This time a raucous birthday bash is thrown by some of Nick’s old pals to celebrate the first birthday of little Nick Jr. while Nick and Nora keep up their reputation as the champagne elite of sleuthing by solving the murder of a Long Island industrialist. Loy and Powell keep their characters in top form with all the clever verbal sparring we’ve come to love. The movie is sponsored by Michael Lorenzini and Michael Adams.
